Is there a way to re-use/move a quarry when it's done, or is it stuck where you originally built it?

I may have to do that, although if I did resort to that, it'd kinda be tempting to do everything that way, and I'm weak willed... I'll either suffer through it, or try another world perhaps...

If this is an SSP map, then I for one am very anxious to get my hands on it. I have watched lots of LP videos with FTB, but have only barely started a world using it, and am probably not gonna be able to get to the good stuff for a long while...

I don't really have any idea about MystCraft, so dunno what you mean about using a book... And I really like the xtra biome stuff, and animal placement makes sense, but it's still a PITA... Is there anyway to turn off just the animal segregation by biome but still keep the extra biomes?

That certainly will help with the bed situation though. Spiders are much more abundant that sheep are in my current world...

I've tried a couple of different worlds and there seems to be an extreme shortage of livestock. In my current world I have been completely unable to find any sheep, so have been playing without a bed. I found a few cows, but no pigs either.

Meaning that to use it with vanilla MC you have to use mcpatcher in order to use this texture pack. But if I use the FTB Launcher, do I still have to do the manual install process myself? Which may be problematic since the FTD Launcher downloads a new MC jar file each time you play.

Is this usable with the FTB Launcher app, and if so, how?

I just watched an episode with a quarry... I thought the macerator to an iron furnace was cool, but that damn quarry is pretty freakin awesome...

If anyone else is reading along in this thread, I started watching BdoubleO100 & generikb... Also very entertaining and informative at the same time. I can understand why playing with a good friend would be fun if these two are any indication.

Oddly enough, I did watch some of Direwolfs, and grasped right away that he had been doing this for quite some time, and it was a bit daunting in how different his startup would be from my own. But I also assumed it was because he was intimately familiar with at least most of the mods already...
