I'm quite surprised there are not more "official" texture packs available from the launcher. It's one of the things that drew me to the FTB launcher... that and the awesome inter-compatible mods...

Thanx Shoeboxam, hopefully they'll push that along fairly quickly... I know I'm in the minority, but I just do not relish manually mucking about with mods, texturepacks, JARs, etc... I do enough development and mucking about at systems for work, when I get home I just wanna click N play...

Sorry to be such a grouch, but if it ain't in the launcher, I ain't using it. That's kinda one of the reasons why I chose this specific launcher over any other, one click usage.

Perhaps because it's not updated for DW v5.01 ? I don't know this to be the issue, but I downloaded it previously, and was hoping it was updated so attempted to re-download it, and it told me it wasn't supported for 1.4.7 and v5.01.

I don;t think you can copy books, something I wish I coulda done, but you could create any number of linking books while in the same spot.

Can you create Mystcraft portals in the Overworld that link to other places in the Overworld? I tried it with a Mystcraft book, since I found a new spot for a remote base thousands of blocks away from my main base, so I tried Mystcraft books, and it wouldn't let me use a book to an Overworld...

Since I built the Iron Guardian Golems ( a v5 addition in Thaumcraft 3.02) I'm assuming I am not going to be able to go back v4. Hopefully v5 will be officially recommended soon.

Just because the recipes weren't there in NEI doesn't mean they're not included. You should still be able to craft them, just look the recipes up online. I had to do that for stone jacketed wires yesterday. No recipe, but still craftable.

In the Thaumcraft CFG file, there is a setting to allow the cheat sheet to be pulled in via Creative Mode.

I'm hesitant to try anything that's not marked as recommended, but I really want those new iron golems in Thaumcraft 3.0.2. What issues have there been with the v5 of the DW pack? Is it more pain than pleasure playing with it?

I usually pipe the top of the logger into the arboretum, with a branch pipe off into a chest. Saplings keep the arboretum full and the extras go into the chest as do the apples. There may be a more elegant way, but it's typically what I do.

I was so very sad when I stumbled upon my first volcano. It was such a small wimpy little volcano, I just laughed at it...
