I, too, would be interested in a family friendly server. I run one now for my two adult kids and their friends. I'm 51 (divorced), daughter is 22, son is 19. Right now they have other young adult interests so I'm left tinkering around and wandering the empty streets of our mc village by myself...

I, too, love the nether now. I like having to look over my shoulders every few minutes. I will enchant diamond or obsidian armor with fire and blast resistance and equip myseft with a good TiC weapon. It's a great challenge now.

You find it right undernearh the top layer of sand. You won't find it below that. CJ talks all about saltpeter in one of his Dark Tower episodes. He uses a filler to refill the area with sand blocks so the saltpeter can "respawn"? Not sure which episode. Somewhere around eps. 14-16. I think...

I'll try it tonight after work. I easily get overwhelmed with such simple setups. I may not have had the send/receive config'd correctly.

I had to put a stone pipe and then the item tesseract to get it to work for me. I don't see any blocks moving through the pipe but it does work. On the receiving end I noticed that the quarried blocks don't show until the second pipe that i have coming off the item tesseract.

This wouldn't even be a debateble issue on my server. I'd let them know that it was a crappy thing to do then send them on their way. That behavior doesn't belong on my server. We're all about respecting and helping each other.

I've been playing my own 1.5.2 mod pack for awhile now. I'm using UE, TE, MFR, Natura, TiC, etc. I used to think I'd hate not having RP2 in my list of mods, but not anymore. I think she's going to have to hit a homerun on the next version for me to add it to my next modpack.

Did you have to do alot of tweaking or did it work pretty well out of the box? I've switched to BOP with my 1.5 pack also.

On my current server I have it doesn't exist. On my 1.5.1 version IC2 and Gregtech won't exist.

I'm with Lambert on this. Just because someone shows support for a modder and their work doesn't need to be met with derogatory remarks. I'm happy she is fine and getting back to RP2.

My daughter has reported this happening to her also. We haven't figured out the cause of the problem. She had them working one day, then the next day they reported Hostile Environment. We are SMP, modified Ultimate.

The last time i tried BOP, i would get major "chunk holes or gaps" (for lack of better description). They wouldn't load until I quit and came back in. I do like the variety offered by BOP. The Highlands Mod has some awesome biomes, but I don't think it's as compatible BOP or EBXL. Hopefully that...

Lanterns Mod I put this mod into a low tech modpack. As long as the lit lantern is in your hotbar it gives off light. You can hang the lanterns on the wall for a nice effect also. http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1535985-146-147-forge-smp-lanterns-115/

I'm with you there. I had 5 or 6 up on the hill next to my tower and they were powering a sorting machine and furnace. Omniwrench - I never leave home without it.

We've added it to our Ultimate based mod pack on our server and really are enjoying it. Don't seem to be having any problems with mob spawning. With AM and dungeon pack, we have some cool structures all over the place.

Thanks for explaining this. I was searching for a good explanation and this helped alot. The cargo manager/distributor had me stumped for a bit but this makes it much clearer.

This thread is become tedious to read, and I find it more difficult to follow with interest. :D

What are some of those bugs? I have it installed and haven't encountered any problems yet.
