I love Open Blocks' Building Guide and use it often because I like to build non square stuff. I'd like to see Buildcraft have something similar only take it farther by having the robots actually place the blocks for you. The more robots employed the faster your structure gets built. Attach...
Those are all good ideas. Crafting expensive baubles or magical items that would help alleviate negative affects ("Ring of Clear Thought", "Talisman of Hydration ")
Enviromine is my least favorite mod in this pack. I usually disable it after a bit, when I get tired of seeing the water drops on the screen. It gets tedious worrying about food AND water
Now you're adding insanity back in? What? Are you insane? :D
If that's the case then my minecrafting is, uh, comatose? lol
That is an awesome base! I like the use of circular buildings and angular walls and glass. It has inspired me to pick up my pace to a slow crawl.
I agree. I don't think ender pearls should ever be an early easy item to get. Hunting enderman has become a regular, and fun, part of my minecrafting experience. I love EnderIO mod and I feel like I accomplish something when I have progressed in that mod. I love magical crops too, and enjoy the...
I like your building style. I always have cylindrical/spherical/dome shaped buildings in my builds.

This is my opinion too. I think Minecraft became much bigger than Mojang anticipated. I think the demands of continuing to keep the game updated was becoming overwhelming. If they had thoughts of a version 2 of Minecraft they probably didn't have the resources to maintain version 1 while working...
I love the Sandstorm/blizzard idea. When a nasty sandstorm whips up visibility would be reduced - for mobs too - and even damage taken with the nastiest storms. Crafting special items to survive the storms like the_j485 suggests would be cool. It could even go as far as regular minecraft glass...
As far as I'm concerned, whatever mod Eloraam presents, if it's interesting, relatively stable and current with what modpacks are available, I'll put it in. Life's too short to get all twisted over the 'possibility' that she may disappear again.
Landmark is somewhat close. It's in beta right now. It's mmorpg based so you have to play on a server. Some nice things about it but I don't like the fact that you have to keep your claim maintained or lose it. They have big plans for it though, so could be good.
There is Build a World...
I've got MCADD. I rarely can stay focused on any kind of project, build or goal long enough to see it to it's end. I'm slow too, so world resets and updates usually occur before I can see the end result if I do manage to get far in a project.
I prefer the architectural end result over technical...
