Is there any way to convert from MJ to EU?

From the forums there is a lot of... hate? i dont want to say that... but yes.. using the power converters mod is the most efficent and easiest way at this point... You would have to start with an energy bridge and then use consumers and producers to get what you want out of it. I'd prolly look...

    A mouse

Everyones right, u should of just bought a nice mouse that doesnt hurt your hand, where i live u can get one for 5-10 bucks... THEN you should save up for one... Personally there's 2 things to consider... do you bring your laptop around with you? or is it pretty stationary... If you bring it...

java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Slot 4094 is already occupied by tdwp_ftw.biomesop.blocks.BlockRedwoodPlank@68bb4261 when adding ic2.advancedmachines.common.BlockAdvancedMachines@5e0323fe Thats what i get, it used to be a different one 4095 but i changed that by hand... thats when i was...

    1.5.1 Beta Pack-DIY Edition (now with 1.5.2)

Does anyone have any easy solutions for dealing with some block ID conflicts. I was trying to use the Biomes o Plenty mod instead of XLbiomes because ... well.. .XL seems to think new biomes = tall trees and jungles lolol, i'm exagerating of course but i did want to try something a bit...

    1.5.1 Beta Pack-DIY Edition (now with 1.5.2)

I dont suppose anyone with a working package would be willing to upload it to a file service site and PM me a link for it would they? I know its taking the lazy way out and i know that this way does seem easier than it used to be... but man i had some issues in the past trying to do what you...

    Island of Sodor

You really should consider looking into the bees mods, it may seem very complicated at first... but you really do get a pretty nice sense of satisfaction from actually working with them. It could almost be a game in and of itself... dont write them off! =p

    Liquid Tesseract bandwidth.

I'm pretty sure i read somewhere that it really boils down to "each connection on a boiler will output 80mB/tick". Thats it... Regardless of what is connected to it, you will only get "up to" 80 mB/tick. So in order to get 160 from a liquiduct u would have to use 2 connections that combine...

    Liquid Tesseract bandwidth.

That is super weird because if that was the case <using a tesseract as an adjacent inv> then when i was trying to solve my issue of not getting maximum mB/tick into my Energy Bridge <1000 mB/tick> slapping a tesseract right onto a boiler did not work, i cannot seem to remember the actual numbers...

    Liquid Tesseract bandwidth.

Hmmmm, i wonder if you would just be better off using the energy bridge instead of all thos steam engines. I was able to input 1000 mB/tick into my energy bridge i just cannot remember how much MJ that converted into it. When it comes down to material costs and space requirements its a no...

    Liquid Tesseract bandwidth.

Yeah Endertanks are fine for something like that, i did toy with the idea of using them instead? My setup is several 36 HP boilers and i did have to use Liquiducts to maximize performance. I have it all feeding into an energy bridge using a steam consumer to produce EU. Its a nice system...

    Liquid Tesseract bandwidth.

Yeah thats exactly how i have my tesseracts connected to my boilers.

    Liquid Tesseract bandwidth.

Ok so since i went through this issue a few weeks ago, u could prolly dig up the thread, it took 2 guys 2 days worth of mesing around to come to a conclusion... As per limit on tesseract? there is no limit... The soft limit is the pipes. If you had a pipe that outputed 10,000 mB then the...

    Ultimate. Iridium Source?

Now this is an odd thing that i've had happen to me that i've never seen anyone else ever mention in regards to Iridium. Creating a Mystcraft world thats flat with endstone end world and enderstar feild and as long as you can get it stable... i apoligize for i have never actually nailed down...

Just not having fun, too overwhelmed

I'll be honest with you, i think half of the draw towards FTB is the unknown and the thrill of the chase per say. I'll admit i was a little put off with how much there was at first but at the same time, i felt more of a sense of accomplishment in FTB then i ever have in Vanilla minecraft. The...

industrial grinders, worth it or not?

Its funny how many people ask this... the answer is pretty simple. You should always have one, i dont think i'd go to the effort of automating it unless you have alot of back end resources but its 100% worth having for the odds and ends. Personally i'm a macerator kinda guy but i always have...

    I'm making a fusion reactor

Yeah honestly there is ways to get the Rubys... setting up centrifuging of redstone which can be created via UU-Matter, which i would assume you would have a lot of if you were at the point of wanting to make a Fusion reactor. Also you could do Bee's and get to Ruby bees and get Ruby comb...

Boilers, Steam, Tesseracts and Energy Bridge

I'd say i'm 99% of the way there, believe it or not i was having issues with the boilers themselves... as for modes for tesseracts?... ... *goes and looks at tesseract config* oh yeah... ok sure lol. I didnt realize that a single point on the boiler only puts out... 80mB it hink? so i had 1...

Boilers, Steam, Tesseracts and Energy Bridge

Yeah i thought that would be fine... but i just did a test and it appears that 1000mB/tick isnt a cap for the consumers, its a cap for the bridge... I did your setup for 4 Consumers with 2 tesseracts touching? it still cannot sustain a IC2 HV Producer as all the consumers for steam cannot go...
