I updated MPS so I could find out the recipe for lv capacitors, and seems like the armor doesn't hold enchantments anymore. My favorite dumb trick before was to get a haste enchant for my boots to counteract all of the weight.

Actually it would seem that someone has ninja fixed GregTech (collaboration wins again :D), so the 1.4.7 pack should be working for Mindcrack 8.1 as well. As usual, report any broken textures here and we will sort them asap

The 1.4.7 pack is updated to work with Direwolf20 5.1.1 If you are using the Mindcrack pack, it should be updated today or tomorrow... ish

Yes. It's fixed in the most recent version

Forestry, Extra Bees, Misc. Peripherals, Xycraft, TrainCraft, Petro Gen, Steve's Carts, Wireless Redstone, Chicken Chunks, and Gravi Suite Pretty much need all textures. And there's a bunch of mods that are missing textures. (I'm looking at you Gregtech. I just can't keep up)

It should work fine without installing anything, but to have custom water/lava and connected textures you will need to install Optifine. ------------------------------------------------ I would like to hear from you guys what my next project should be. What would you like to see textured next?

Netherores should already be in the pack in the atomicstryker folder and I have done a few of the mobs from Mo Creatures, but like frederikam said, there are just so many of them that it would take forever to do them all. There are still alot of things in the FTB pack that have default textures...
