I have noticed the GUI on some of the machine do not show up( will get a screen shot when I can log in to the game)

When I start FTB I am getting this [ERROR] Exception during reading modpackfile, So I did a fresh install and I am still getting this, any ideas?

I have had the same problem. There is a mod in the mod pack that tells me there is a new version out but it wont auto update with FTB for some reason.
