    Also, I'm not sure starting out with FTB is a good idea. Unless you are fairly familiar with the game, you should probably stick with vanilla (no mods) at first.

    Nano boots will absorb the fall damage up to a certain point, and then you will take damage and the boots will lose a lot of energy.

    When I played Tekkit, nano armor would not let you get hurt as long as it was fully charged. Now, that doesn't seem to be the case. Anyway, I am planning to go to the Twilight Forest soon and I was wondering what kind of armor I should wear because I don't have Quantum yet.

    Crash when typing 0 in the I.P address. Fixed by pasting with Ctrl + V. Edit: Just noticed this is gameplay only. My bad.

    Question about Lag

    Me and everyone on my server have the same problem with lag when looking in a certain direction. I looked into it and I realized that the area is a slime chunk. Any ideas of why this is happening? And how to fix it, if fixable.

    After all of these replies and a good half hour of looking into the configs I have realized that I was being very ignorant. I saw somewhere that all GregTech does is make the game harder and to fix that it said to change all of the config 'trues' to 'falses'. I now have the settings that I want...
