I've toyed with the idea of making platinum bees my main source of iridium, since I enjoy bee breeding. But when I played with one in creative I had second thoughts. I set up an isolater/synthesizer/purifier/inoculator setup just like you would in survival, and it took a whole lot of time and BC...
I run a ftb server on my personal computer (I run my client on there as well). My specs:
Mindcrack 8.0.1
Windows 7
1 gig allocated
2 player server
Mods installed manually: Optifine 1.4.6 HD U C3 (Doubt that's the problem is this because this only happens on my server, not in ssp)...
Why did you remove the iron chest textures? Now they're just the original 16x ones, not the faithful 32x like they're supposed to be.
Please add them back.
In the forestry config there is a setting to change beekeeping difficulty. Easy, Normal, Hard, Really Hard (I think), and Insane. Can someone tell me how these settings affect bees? Things like mutation chance, production rate, hive drop rate, etc?
Crap, I forgot to specify that this is a server problem. The server starts up but as soon as it loads the redpower/traincraft mods it gets an error. I have to ctrlaltdel to get it to close, as /stop doesn't work.
The crash is also for the twilightforest one, not the redpower crash. I'll fix that.
I've been abstaining from updating to Mindcrack v8 because of all the trouble I've heard people having. I finally broke down and updated, but now I'm seeing those problems myself.
At first there was an ID conflict between Twilight forest and Buildcraft, reloading the config folder fixed that...
I'm pretty sure it's not in the vanilla grasscolour.png file. Changing the forest colour in that doesn't change the forested hills colour in extrabiomes, so I'm guessing there is another file?
I've heard that you can autokill mobs spawned by soulcages and still get drops (blazes normally drop rods only when killed by hand, if you autokill them when they've come from a cage, they still drop rods). Does this work with wither skulls?
So I have my corroded bees, which produce copper. Copper is annoyingly rare since it generates in the higher layers of the map and I tend to mine lower down. Corroded bees produce a copper comb every 25 minutes or so. Is it possible to breed them with, say, a cultivated bee (has a very fast...
It used to be that the apiarists database showed all bee species. Now, it's blank. I've heard that you need to discover bees now, but I have no idea how to. Running a bee through a beealyser does nothing, and neither does putting one in an apiary. Anyone know how to discover bees?
So I've been looking into turtles, and I want to make a quarry with them. Here's what I want:
Variable size (I probably won't go higher than 64x64)
Automatic refueling/unloading
Ability to unload into an enderchest (not sure if that has to be built into the script so I just thought I'd make...
Relax. I simply wanted the other ores to be slightly more valuable. Sheldonite is very useful, but the others not so much.
Sodalite being electrolyzed would give you lapis as well as the other biproducts. Olivine dust being centrifuged would give you 2 tiny piles of emerald dust.
