To be fair the multiple enchants on one book thing was a bug. You can't do that in vanilla, and for good reason - you wind up with nonsense combinations like sharpness and fire protection.

The issue is that IC2 crops didn't have an "is done growing" call, just "can be harvested". I think we fixed this in 2.6 but I'm not certain; I'm not entirely familiar with actually using IC2 crops. In previous builds you're stuck with just using a timer to power down the harvester though.

You're still using 2.2, aren't you? Upgrades were added in 2.3. The last version for MC 1.4.7 is 2.3.2 which can be found in my thread (link in sig). And yes, a max upgraded farm is pretty slow. That's supposed to be the tradeoff; cost and convenience vs speed.

It's blacklisted from the safari net because you could duplicate a ram at 15/16 wools. I guess that's really more an issue for the autospawner not the net, but we didn't have autospawner blacklisting until very recently. Still, that's your reason.

Ideas, whatever, nothing in MFR (except the rednet stuff I guess) is really that innovative. But using the textures for another mod isn't something I would be fond of.

I've actually been asked to do this several times, and my thought is "why bother, the end is finite". It wouldn't exactly be hard to redo the textures and that's like 90% of the work, I just never saw the point so I focused my work elsewhere. Endfish might be funny I guess to go with the...

CC guys are doing it on their end. I'm not sure what build has it but it is in the betas I believe. MFR's cable is more powerful anyway because it can carry any integer value - in recent MFR betas sending a negative signal to a conveyor will make it reverse. Ok shameless self-promotion over.

When discussing lag, bear in mind there's several kinds and they effect people differently. Graphical lag is the "nicest" - your client just can't draw stuff fast enough. This can be improved by shorter rendering distances, less fancy options, etc. Mods with fancy models can be but are not...
