I tried it again, and the tank suddenly works. It even fills my exosuit :D The tank in the screenshot had around 40000mB of steam (40-50% I believe), so I doubt there was a lack of steam. Maybe it occasionally gets stuck until a game restart.

Is there some trick to using a steam tank? My tank takes steam in, but doesn't let it out to power devices. I assume it should work somewhat like a Leadstone Energy Cell, I attach it to a pipe system and it should input/output automatically? My setup:

Has anyone managed to kill an elephant? I'm sitting on a pillar in a Mystcraft age, shooting spells at one, and it just won't die. I've gained maybe 4 levels already, and 4% in two affinities. (the spell is projectile-magic damage-force damage, and I'm now level 13...)

General-purpose Nether tactic: bring 10 obsidian and a flint&steel, on entering hit Esc and let it load properly, run away a few blocks and dig in to build a new portal. That works even in BnB. Unless you spawn over a lava sea.

It shouldn't screw it up, the node will happily convert the biome as soon as you remove the bloom. If you leave both, I imagine they will create a random pattern of plains/magic biome.

Go to a Roguelike Tower, or the brick houses that are actually similar towers, and kill the spawning champions that drop Thaumcraft treasure bags. You can dig a hole for them to jump in for more convenient killing. There are also the usual chests under certain Greatwood Trees and other worldgen.

Is there a way to unload chunks around world spawn? I was thinking of how FTB Utils lets you load chunks, but in reverse...

It varies. Sometimes it wants some emeralds, sometimes blaze rods, diamonds, magma creams, gold bars. It's not two trades max, either. It tends to vary, maybe from modpack to modpack. It offers demon hearts, enchanted books (Looting/Fortune 3 or Silk Touch for example), sometimes other things...

I liked the Clockwork Phase, but I felt it was a bit overpowered (as well as the high res textures...). Looking forwart to the next version.

Whoa, I didn't notice there's been two versions since I last played.

I think it should be in the inventory with all the other stuff, but check the Baubles screen as well. Re-installed the pack, there's no crown... And a blaze spawned under a tree, weird.
