    What way does the Bedrock Breaker has to be facing?

    Pretty obvious that the grinding part should be facing bedrock. Make sure it isnt the last layer of bedrock because it can't break that.

    Mods to add to FTB Monster....

    Make sure you take every ore of GT in the nether, most are hidden. To make it clean simply smelt it and crush it. Or centrifuge it. (I think)
