    Iridium Ore

If you think finding iridium naturaly is slow then just wait til you get your hands on a matterfabricator. It's even slower!

    Forestry

RedPower2 isn't done updating so it isn't added to the FTB pack yet, but it will be added as soon as it is released.

FTBBETA not even wanting to start.

Try running the FTB launcher from it's own clean folder instead of directly on your desktop. So delete the folder "C:\Users\Jaden\AppData\Roaming\ftblauncher" and delete all FTB related files on your desktop. Then make a new folder on your desktop and give it a name without spaces or special...

What does YOUR Power Room look like?

Sure, i could try putting together some sort of guide for my build :) Just going to try to make it look neat with the rock crushers / industrial centrifuges first.

playing FTB ith forestry, im initially stuck for power

You don't need a turbury to get peat. Breaking mature peat bog should give you one peat and one dirt.

What does YOUR Power Room look like?

Yeah. the liquid transposers are incredibly quick, even when the boiler is at low temperatures and i feed it with tons of lava it still keeps up rather good. The wooden pipe on the other hand is quite a bottleneck, had to put a lot more then a redstone engine and an autarchick gate on it to make...

What does YOUR Power Room look like?

That is taken care of by a single liquid transposer and a wooden pipe.

What does YOUR Power Room look like?

Thanks for the tip! :D I've just found out how to get produce unlimited gold, iron, tin, sulphur and wolfram as well :D By canning excess lava and running it trough an gregtech centrifuge i'll get back tin equal to the cost of the cans + 8, in addition to 4 gold bars, 1 wolfram and 32 pyrite...

Tekkit is a joke but my FPS was Higher

Since you didn't want to tell if you used a laptop or not i'll just asume you'r using a laptop. Since you were able to run tekkit with higher fps im going to asume that your laptop have an dedicated graphics card. Most laptop have a integrated graphics card as well so that they can turn off the...

    Unix Launcher doesn't save username/password

Tadaskew: The logindata used to be in the same folder as the launcher, but it might be that i've just got a file left there since before they started using the ftblauncher folder. betrukenaffe: I believe you can download the source here: https://github.com/Slowpoke101/FTBLaunch/downloads

    Unix Launcher doesn't save username/password

On windows there is a folder located at "C:\Users\[your username]\AppData\Roaming\ftblauncher" that also contains a copy of the logindata file. I believe that folder was added around 1.0.5'ish so that could be the issue. I have no idea what the filepath for unix would be, but a quick search for...

What does YOUR Power Room look like?

Actualy, at max temp on a max size boiler, 4 magma crucibles running on cobble is enough to keep the temperature at max. No temperature fall or anything. It's infinite free power (at a rate of 72MJ/t).
  17. M

What does YOUR Power Room look like?

Nope, this system runs on cobblestone generated infenetly by igneous extruders. There is no maintainance whatsoever, no filling of anything.
  18. M

What does YOUR Power Room look like?

I should have been clearer on that part :) There are 9 magma crucibles in the pictures, 4 are for keeping the boiler warm, 5 are for lava production when needed.
  19. M

What does YOUR Power Room look like?

Lava buckets filled by magma crucibles powered by the boiler itself (it consumes half of the 144MJ/T production to keep it heated)
  20. M

What does YOUR Power Room look like?

You'r looking at 72 maintainance free MJ/t. It doesn't require refueling (it's selfrefueling), it's relatively small (the closest magma crusible cluster isn't a part of the power generation, it's just my on request lava production, the 4 in the back are all that's needed to keep it warm). Trying...
