    How often are you hitting things with a stick for it to become annoying? It's the Ruins mod by the way, and there's no way to turn it function off.

    There's already a recipe for turning bonemeal directly into floral fertilizer (also using the alchemy catalyst I believe) so this shouldn't really make that any cheaper.

    Botania has recipes through the alchemy catalyst to double some items (e.g. redstone). Perhaps something could be added for the vanilla flowers too. I can only remember needing one poppy for one of the book recipes, so it shouldn't change the balance at all to mass produce them at the cost of...

    Are there any tricks to finding the Mariculture natural gas? I've spent a fair bit of time looking and can't seem to find any bubbles coming from the ocean floor.

    No numbers is one of the main principles of Botania (no GUIs is the other). NEI will show you the mana cost visually that you can compare to what is in your mana pool, but that's the most you'll get.

    Sheep spawn at higher elevations (Y level). Make sure you climb up any larger hills/mountains you come across and you should eventually find some. They also won't spawn if it is too hot, so head north (-X, away from the equator) to increase your chances.

    Don't work how? Wood buckets don't place source blocks in TFC in case that's the issue you're having...

    Sort of... If it's "unloaded" for longer than 24 in game days (8 hours real time) it will only do a single decay tick instead of catching up to all the missed ones. My understanding is that's primarily there so players in SMP who log off for a couple IRL days don't log back on and instantly lose...

    Horizontal beams are no longer a craftable item in TFC...but then again, neither are vertical. There's just beams without any qualifier now. You just place them on the ground to make a vertical pillar, and then place on the side of a pillar to make a horizontal beam between the vertical ones.

    Not for brine because it's just mixing 2 liquids. You only need to seal it for anything that takes time, like fermenting alcohol or soaking hides.

    It's not quite that small... I usually kill my mobs around 3-4 blocks away and it works. I don't think you can go much more than that though.
