    Chromaticraft will not be added into this pack. I try to keep clean of every type of magic mods. Electricraft... not sure about that. I do not really see any need for it, as you can convert to EU and then back again, but there is also no real reason to keep it out. For what exact type of setups...

    The 64 EU/t recipe fed by 2x32EU/t turbines did go down because of the internal loss of the battery box. The 3 turbines did not improve that, since the battery buffer with only a single battery can only accept 2 amps, so the 3rd last added steam turbine does no work at all.

    Yes, it can burn Creosote. Even will full efficiency. Refined Fuels like Diesel or Nitro-Diesel burn only with 1/4 efficiency.

    The miner does not scan up. So missed ores would stay. It does speed up with higher tier hatches.

    Your beginning math about loss is correct. 32V at 1amp emitted over one 1x tin cable would reach the machine at 31V 1amp. Most LV recipes are <30EU/t so make it possible to supply them with one amp. But! all machines can accept 1 amp more than their nominal usage, so at last 2 amps. Machines...

    Well, you could rise the efficiency but that would make it even more complex. Using a Distillation Tower and Cracking unit to get the most from your oil.

    polytetrafluoroethylene is meant to be complex and annoying to make. compared to it, the normal plastic can be made quite easy.

    The portable Scanner can do that. But that needs aluminium and advanced circuits to make, so likely out of reach for you when you just start with LV machines.

    Do not forget radioactive materials(U235 or plutonium) they are also in material bags or some crops. Generally machines exploding because of overvoltage are deadly before having good armor. While good armor later protects good against steam or lava pipes, in real endgame the plasma filled pipes...

    http://forum.industrial-craft.net/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=11729 That thread has a lot Nuclear reactor designs. The output of them was rised by GT (2x EU/t or 4x Energy from hot coolant) but all components behave the same, so they work 1:1.

    When you scan the crop, is it at stage 2/3 with 0 growth progress? You should be able to see that with the crop scanner.
