So there's no gain in putting source blocks everywhere?

On Big Reactors, when using passive coolants, do I have a source block on each available space, or do I just put the source blocks at the top of the reactor and let them flow down?

    [1.7.10] Expedition - Exploration, Tech, Magic (v1.1.3 - Updated 25 March 2016)

Either get Curse Voice and install the pack or, if you're using the FTB launcher, go to Third Party Packs tab, click pack code and write EXPEDITION.

I tested in a creative world, but I'd like to get some sort of confirmation: do Ender IO Farming Stations keep the ground tilled? I did not see it moist, but it did not revert to dirt, either.

Yeah, I do. Was just saying that if I find any, they're dead... But before that, they will be whipped to breed so I can kill future generations.

Thanks. I usually don't smelt villagers, but since I haven't found a village in about 200-600 blocks around my base (Resonant Rise 3) I feel that their lack of presence would deserve such a treatment.

Does anyone know if emerald ore spawns in the Armoa Mining Dimension?

In Obscurity I could click a Compact Machine with a diamond to make it keep the inventory. Was it a configuration specific from the pack? I can't seem to do that on my current pack (Resonant Rise 3). Edit: took me a while, but I've got it now. Turns out Obscurity set it to be a diamond, but...

oh... OH! I get it now. Much better, yes. At least you can mine the cobble with the fortune pick to level it and silk for some ores. Nice concept.

Hmm. Well, what I said I saw took into account just shoving ores into machines. I didn't see (nor thought of) any efficient processing that would take into account side products such as cinnabar. This needs some heavy sciencing done. And it's especially hard because it can vary very much from...

I read a statistical post on Reddit stating that, for basic ore doubling (not sure if Pulverizer or SAG Mill, and I'm not sure on the augments or grinding balls involved), Fortune III provided a better result. And from my experience, that is indeed it.

These days Tinkers' tools are must haves. There is an interesting (not exploit; intentional) trick with the Lapis modifier. As soon as you can strap at least 10 Lapis on your pick/hammer. There is a chance to increase the value for each block broken (you start with 10, you have a chance at...

Anyone ever had an issue with Botania where you can't move spreader in function mode, and on binding mode when you select something it is immediately deselected? Edit: nevermind. I was in the Mining Dimension and, somehow, leaving and entering again solved the proble. Weird...

There is no "FTB tutorial". There are, however, mod spotlights explaining mods and their mechanics. Sometimes there are Let's Play videos showing mod integration, but rarely is it "just what you wanted to know". On the other hand there are introduction packs based on quests. You have Agrarian...

    Hello 1.9

It can be used as liquid protein to synthesize bees. Some people have different callings on what to build, but I never saw a theme park style build. Edit: nobody builds a massive rail system connecting the base building/castle, the ore processing in the desert, cake factory in the arctic, etc...

    Hello 1.9

Flesh in the Nether is very useful for Gendustry, by the way. But other than that, let's face it: once we gather any specific biome exclusive resources we never leave our Hobbit holes. Do we care how pretty and lush and varied the outside is? No. And those that don't like to live in dwarf...

Ooo, ooo, I know just the thing. I'm almost positive it's the Afrit from Lycanite's mobs (so you'd have to install that). It randomly spawns from fire or lava. Here is what it looks like (the Afrit) Here is what it can do (again, I'm almost positive it's him the cause, buuuuuuut, I could be...

I want to create a fully functional EnderIO AE2 system, which is possible, in part, by using the Inventory Panel to access my item stashes (chests, barrels, whatever). Now, rather than setting cable from here to Japan, I was wondering if this is possible using something other than Dimension...
