What if you warp the node and the machines using the 3x3x3 focus? It takes everything that keeps the node stable so, in theory, it should work... I guess some sciencing is in order.

No idea on the first question, but regarding the second, I believe everything goes. The wiki mentions it not working with spawners, but I believe that has changed or is configurable. On Simply Magic I successfully used them to move spawners. Word of caution on using teleposition on Thaumcraft...

I just dropped by to confirm that the reddit link I dropped earlier is effective. You can level up lapis modifier. I tried on Resonant Rise 3, with Iguana Tinker Tweaks installed. Don't think you need the Tweaks installed, but I thought it was relevant.

I made another world with the seed. Weird right up front. My world was generated with mountains and ups and downs everywhere (so much that I rushed step assist). Using ATG. Reboot the world. Seed and ATG enabled and everything is different. No mountains that I saw from spawn to Ender Portal...

I can indeed set the path to Java. After saving the profile, running and playing the game, once I close and open it again, the path is again set to JRE. With or without a system reboot... Edit: when I wrote "close and open it again", I meant closing the game and MC lancher windows.

FTB Utilities offers free chunk loading. Open your inventory, click the map icon to the left of the window and click to claim chunks. Once claimed CTRL+Space+click (I think; I have mine configured to only need space+click) the chunks you want to have loaded. Done.
