I know it'd be extremely hard to do, but I think forge should add some sort of universal power API, similar to what happened with liquids. Honestly if you think about it, IC2 ends up being an odd guy out in terms of most power systems in 1.5.2 modding.

Add some ways to power it using some of the typical modded minecraft power, and the ability to make furnaces that are so ridiculously sized it isn't even funny and I'll be impressed

Filling potentia Jars can be really annoying. And the harness provides limited protection, but the enchants you can get on it are nice
