If you use chunk loaders, it essentially provides infinite water. Though, I do commend you for not using Aqueous Accumulators.

Options, controls, all, voxelmap menu. Rebind it to something not in use. Use that to open the menu and navigate to the waypoints sections, configure it how you want, and rebind the hotkey to set waypoints.

Indeed, that is what I mean. Setting up a tree farm and burning the logs or crafting 512 solar panels is really lame. Complex and expensive passive energy is more acceptable.
I meant the ones that require little investment/infrastructure/maintenance/fuel, such as solar panels. But yes, it's ridiculously easy with the default configs; you can set up an tree farm and be set forever.
How many players do you have on the server? There is a very sloppy way to do it. It is the only way I can think of, though. Since, there is no actual config for it.
