I don't think Forge updates tend to harm backwards compatibility. How exactly did you go about making the additions/updates? And did you keep the configs and grab the configs from the Mindcrack pack for Extra Bees?

The Wrath Lamp creates its own light emitting air blocks to reach so far. Unfortunately those blocks get in the way of plant growth.

There is the convoluted method of using some MJ to fuel a Forestry Rubber Tree farm and EU and GregTech to produce Methane to keep a Liquid* Fueled Boiler running, and Boilers do spectacularly for MJ when they're kept hot. * You'd think they'd start using the word Fluid for these things...

There's your problem. Standard terrain means "do as the overworld does." Combining that with any other biome control causes instability.

When you're carrying a block, it's not actually still considered a block, which is why it can go through a Mystcraft portal. I'm wanting to think I've heard frames can shove something through a Mystcraft portal, but that would take more experimentation than I've done.
