    Sounds like an excellent reason to reclaim your steam to me. Anyway, placing a cooling fin on the DPA, and ice on the cooling fin should bring its temperature below ambient if I'm reading the relevant code correctly.

    It would be neat if ChC could do that as an alternative to the current generation, with, say, a dragon on each of them. It would probably require a load of ASM on both the world generator and the ender dragon to get it to behave, though.

    The only requirement in regards to that is that at least one end be open. The only thing I can think of that might prevent ocean temples from spawning is a lack of caves or ravines (edit: or especially unflat ocean bottoms, like something like RTG would generate).

    The actual block scanning radius should still be correct (I'm not surprised to see 10k iron ore in a 257^2 area - the surface area exposed by caves is only going to account for a few percentage of all ore there), it's just the chunk loading that's borked.

    That's because it tries force-loading a 128 chunk radius instead of a 128 block radius. Forge limits this to like 4000 chunks instead of 65000 so it doesn't completely break the server, but still it's not pretty. This is another thing fixed in v11...

    At that point you need to unlock nearly every previous entry, with a few exceptions such as non-gating ones (painful loss) and the mod integration ones. For what it's worth, it will be a lot clearer in v11.

    It sounds like you're missing the "More Complex Crafting" (multiblock) progression stage. You've made the redstone/gold tier of casting temple, right? That should unlock it.
