You could also double check for a hidden bad node in the area. I've had them spawn wisps on my server with no one touching any magic mods.

No no, MFR farms work fantastic. I have no problems at all with how they function. It's just the eye candy part. With forestry I can have a nice smooth area with crops and lighting. With MFR I have the harvester and fertilizer sitting there a block above ground level.

...Mine wouldn't either, so I cheated a little and gave myself one. Filled in the rest of my farms from that one sapling.

I'm using some Mahoe for the saplings with forestry now. I was using vanilla on the MFR. Either way really works fine, it came down to preference. I like liquid fuel over solid for keeping things cleanly topped off as well as forestry farms looking cleaner than MFR. Now beneath my...

Yeah...just one MFR tree farm... Actually I had 3 running but swapped them out for Forestry. Not as productive but they look better. Need to figure out how to make an MFR farm look as good as it functions.
