A question about Minecraft Java configs when using the Twitch App

Actually, that parameter is not ignored. Instead, it is automatically set in your MC launcher profile according to your slider setting in the Twitch App. Or is there yet another place where you can set it?

I'm looking for a modpack with Reika's mods that's regularly updated

I may just do that. Things are being difficult, though. I thought of diggin up the latest Revolution Pack (it's one year old) and just update Reika's mods, but it has Realistic Terrain Generation and I can't stand that. Currently, I'm trying to tweak Ascension of the Technomancer... enchantment...

A question about Minecraft Java configs when using the Twitch App

I've downloaded and started a new modpack and I found the memory allocation to be insufficient. I went to the profiles page, changed the Java parameters and saved the settings, and it worked - for that session. Leaving the game and coming back later, I find the parameters are reset to their...

I'm looking for a modpack with Reika's mods that's regularly updated

...because most modpacks I could find haven't been updated for quite some time. The pack with the most recent update I could find is "Ascension of the Technomancer", but from the description it likely has far too much fighting for my taste. And it still has v18b when current is 19c. Basically...

    [1.10.2] Age of Engineering

I'm posting screenshots of my space station in the community showcase thread: https://forum.feed-the-beast.com/threads/an-age-of-engineering-space-station.263602/ (I had originally posted this in Closet Gamer's own thread. Sorry for that)

    Age of Engineering Series!

Nice. I had thought of doing something like this, but never got around to it.

An "Age of Engineering" Space Station

This is a mobile space station I made while playing the "Age of Engineering" modpack. This was possible thanks to Advanced Rocketry, and it was something I've thought to build one day ever since the first space-based mod came out for Minecraft. This post will contain some first impressions, more...

    [1.10.2] Age of Engineering

All right people, in order to finalize my build, I'd like to have a challenge: As I said before, my goal is to become as independent from planetary resources as it's possible to become without using creative powers. Since technically, I am already there with the Atomic Multiplier, I'll add the...

    [1.10.2] Age of Engineering

And it's done! I can now get all ores without having to leave the station. I'm not completely independent from planetary resources, but at least I don't have to visit boring places like...the moon. @GamerwithnoGame : Many thanks for this hint that this very useful and thematically fitting...

    [1.10.2] Age of Engineering

Asteroid mining is possible in AoE AFAIK, but it's not worth the effort. The orbital laser drill can be crafted, but I don't know if it's functional or how it works. Hmm....something worth trying. Edit: I haven't got the orbital laser drill to work. It's a multiblock and the multiblock forms...

At 6.9kRF/t, they stay significant until that amount becomes insignificant. Which means, not as yet, since the tier 3 solar makes 15kRF/t during the day. Also, I agree that this is one of the most interesting modpacks I've played as yet, thanks mainly to Advanced Rocketry. However, have you...

    [1.10.2] Age of Engineering

I've been having odd issues with Mekanism multiblocks, that may also apply to the reactor. One of my dynamic tanks breaks every time I leave the game and re-enter my world, in spite of not being built across chunk boundaries (the reason why I had to relocate my TEPS). If I break one of its...

    [1.10.2] Age of Engineering

Here's an early picture of the time when I was creating my ME network: You can easily see how I'm doing things. I'm working with two controllers: the four-block controller set up as a pillar controls the main network, the one-block controller behind and below the Dense Energy Cell controls...

The autocrafter does not auto-output. You need to use conduits to draw the slime blocks out. In the machine GUI, the lower box with four slots is the output box. Everything in there can be drawn out with conduits, stuff that's elsewhere can't. If the output box is full of stuff you don't draw...

And.....the Mekanism fusion reactor. I didn't make a water-cooled one since I have no idea about the space requirements, and this looks quite nice and serves nicely as a main energy source for my base. As you can see, I dismantled the DE reactor. This one is more complicated to set up and fuel...

    [1.10.2] Age of Engineering

Oh, identifying them is never a problem - I use colored cables everywhere, and if I look at a P2P connector, I know it's from the yellow segment or the purple segment - the color of the dense cable at the input end. And if I have separate storage and crafting networks - which I do in games where...

Is there a special way to rename interfaces? I haven't tested it on either, but with an inscriber name press and and an inscriber, you should be able to rename pretty much anything. I've mainly used that to name formatted storage cells.

Just in case it interests anyone, here are two automation-related tidbits I don't think many people are aware of: (1) If you want to automate the Atomic Reconstructor from Actually additions, use a wooden pressure plate (that part is well known), and place the Precision Dropper directly above...

    [1.10.2] Age of Engineering

Let me make a prediction: it is possible that you have enough Nether Stars, but you will most probably not have enough flawless diamonds - you get them from the diamond tree in very big quantities if you use an...hmm...I think the thing was called algorithmic assimilator, but one underestimates...
