    That must have been added pretty recently. I'm glad; I'll be more than happy to shitcan the meteors and Minetweaker in my own recipe for the skystone and presses.

    I stand by what I said earlier about Meteors being ugly and ruining biomes, but I do have to give the guy props about the spawning algorithm. I do appreciate the way it looks like they came in from an angle, shearing off trees and rock faces.

    I don't like the meteors. They're ugly. They fuck up nice biomes. I would rather trade with a villager if plates must be a gated mechanic. I don't like how it took a sci-fi turn. I was perfectly fine with Controllers and everything else looking like regular computer parts. In the end, though...

    Even with FastCraft installed it still runs poorly. FastCraft definitely gets rid of the freezes that happen when generating chunks, but it doesn't do anything for server lag (block lag, stars bouncing back and forth, etc). If I load a fresh world and just stand in one spot so no chunks are...

    Yeah, it's different because this thread is talking about a newer version. But to answer your question: I don't think it's possible in 1.6.4. I don't believe that CoFH worldgen supported dimension-specific spawn rules in that version.

    Yeah, I knew about the unifier. I didn't know about JABBA barrels, though. Thanks for that info. But to be honest I prefer an external tweaking method, which is why I was wondering about going the ModTweaker route.

    What would be the best way to go about this? Using ModTweaker to remove all casting basin and casting table recipes and then re-add them, specifying Thermal Expansion blocks/ingots as the output? That seems tedious; is it the only way?

    Woah.. This mod.. I'm speechless. I don't know what kind of miracle code Player wrote here, but this mod is solid gold. I have no chunk loading lag at all anymore, and the spam about chunk ticking is completely gone.

    I don't think there's a specific config option to turn it off, you should just be able to delete everything out of ThermalExpansion-Ores.json to turn off generation. Don't delete the file, because it will regenerate.. Just delete all the text inside it and save it.
