Yeah, but every conduit-to-device transfer gets taxed 5%. So if you have Engines - Conduit - Cell - Conduit - Machine, you get taxed 0.95 * 0.95 = 90.25% efficiency. It's far easier to use conductive pipe and only eat 0.01% * the short length of pipe (varies, i heard it's broken).
