The problem is clearly BC pipes deleting small amounts of liquids when it lets multiple liquids in a pipe. Yes you can work around BC being buggy and deleting your stuff but the blame is squarely on BC's shoulders.

You can make a simple repeating clock once you have redstone with an hourglass and a few pieces of redstone. Other than that it is manual. And yes, it can be annoying if you are trying to make a massive amount of ore.

AFAIK the steam turbine is for IC2 power. Since we don't have IC2 you have no reason to use it. Use industrial steam engines instead.

If this is true it is good to know. Restarting the client after leaving a server/sp map is simple enough for most people I think. How many people play on multiple maps of the same mudpack?
