I'm pretty certain there is no longer any option in the config to revert MMI crafting to the IC2 recipe. If I'm wrong on that count, could you kindly point me to where it is?

You used to be able to change the config to set MMI back to the IC2 recipe - just craft refined iron, bronze, and tin together in a normal crafting grid. This update has removed the ability to do that - if GregTech's installed, you HAVE to use the plate bending machine.
