But sorting machines need barely any power! I ran four sorting machines off two thermopiles, and I probably could have done it with one! You don't need a massive solar array, just a few will do everything you ever need. None of the blutricity machines actually need all that much.

No, I don't think so. Used to be able to power two 36HP and a 36LP, I think, but blaze rods got nerfed hard a few months ago.

If a chunk that contains part of your network unloads, it also cancels crafting. At least, I assume that's why my crafting kept getting interrupted when I built a massive extension to my ME network.

Three main reasons: one, because I'm being silly and my bee breeding room is underground (so every bee needs cave and nocturnal in order to work at all). Two, because it's a lot easier to automate with newly mutated bees than breeding the traits on the old fashioned way. Three, because I can.

Lies. If that's all you can think of doing with automated bee identification I'm sorry for you. I'm planning on building an automated bee inoculation station, which will give any bee I put in it all the best traits I've discovered so far.

If you mean MMIngotOnlyRollingMachine, we have it set to false, and we still have to make MMIngots out of plates. That's the only relevant config entry I can find, aside from Aluminium2MixedMetal, Steel2MixedMetalIngots, and Titanium2MixedMetal, and I'm sure none of them are what's stopping us...

No, the standard assumption is "like reality except where noted". Enderpearls clearly come under "except where noted", as do Minecraft Joules, being a different unit of measurement to Joules. Steam power does not come under "except where noted", and is thus a valid target for realism disputes...
