So, i wanted to craft an furnace (for the cascading furnace, getting up my aura cascade completion) but i always had the cobblestone neccesary disappear from my inventory! I thought it was some kind of lag first, but i forgot i had an portable black hole in my inventory...

I got another exploit, this time major! The combo EE3 + botania alchemy catalyst enables quick gain of EE3 Energy, for example Redstone can be turned into glowstone, increasing it's value from 32 to 128!
There are also floating warding candles from thaumic esotherica! They won't work as an infusion stabilizier, though. I really didn't get many heads since i never dared to collect the drops - killing everything from afar or behind slab cover.
Oh, and cobblestone as an infusion stabilizier does...
I dunno about you, but i normally do an 14x14 field *under* the infusion altar, so i wouldn't see anything anyway. And Mob heads? Those are much harder to aquire when you have unlimited zombie flesh and AM2 runes with EE3 to make warding candles. And if i was really lazy, i just could replicate...
Is it intended that splash fire resist potions (and maybe others) have an EE3 value?
Also, is it intended that cobblestone (among others) is useable as an infusion stabilizer?
They did get buffed one or two patches ago.

Well, to quantify vinteum dust you "only" need an obelisk and atleast one calefactor, and it can be improved with some efficency upgrades aka mana and charge foci, together with an upgraded obelisk (the wizard chalk circle and the stone pillars), so i think it needs the least amount of...

Btw Drastic, i found an semi-loophole: vinteum dust is easy to quantify - since calefactors produce more then they need, especially with an mana focus. And since vinteum dust has an EE3 value... it isn't a big loophole though since they are rather low on cost. It is still far...
Btw, which y level is the top of the caveworld? I tried to get to it but i always end up in gigantic cave systems where is pours enemies on me. Or a Griphon picks me up, and then i bug out as i try to escape with recall.
I was already sceptical with Aura Cascade (the whole "throw things on the ground, don't worry they won't decay"), but now i know im not a fan since just now a aura pump had eaten an essence refiner i threw on the ground for thaumcraft analysing!

Once you have it, it's yours! Forever... My only problem was finding netherrack and soulsand, but clever use of journey made that relativly easy too. I think it's ok for this modpack since you still have all the nasty enemies. And what do you mean? I can create Gold just fine, and silver isn't...
