I think that keeping diamond needed for limonite would be a good idea, it's very common but I think we need the stepping stone to get diamond or similarly rare material to make the transition from vanilla to AoA ores.

does thaumcraft add x2 for other dimension ores? haven't progressed in it yet.

TiC does add the double ores mechanic, but i agree they are way to powerful for how easy they are to get compared to the others.

I agree, I think I didn't explain what I meant to well. I wasn't meaning quests or a linear book, I was more thinking what you would getting when you look up "progression guides" or "taking your first steps" guides. not really saying 'build this to progress' more saying 'try going for this at...

did you change your config for that? cause for me limonite cant be mined without a diamond pick.

I think instead of having books with explination of certain mod elements and having a big list of stuff to read, I think it should be incremental, and 'optional' achiements such as... "surviving your first night! try to create an enclosed space with a bed to sleep through the night creatures"...

I found that the Urka spawn in a standard 'taiga' but the hides are kinda rare.

i think the reason you cant build it is to encourage exploration and rarity, however on that note, I think a great compromise would have a controller block that the portal needs to function, much like the blueprints, to be gotten as a drop then you can use that to craft where needed.

just had the glitch where all my stuff is gone, not even a skeleton, i died to an explotion by a trickster, possible the trickster also blew up my stuff?

can you get the extra foraging drop from mining ores or is it only stone.

i don't mind these corpses besides the glitches that occur. and had no idea that augury did that, going to level that up now.

I have got myself horizon maul with sharpness 3, full alacrity armor, and the trolls arch gun but still keep dieing in the nether mainly to the brutal zombie pigmen with the gimpy arm, any hints on what I should get / go for?

common bug now, it seems logging out and back in fixes it.
