    Oooo... I don't think forcing trees on all deep ocean islands is such a good idea. It would probably be better for players who find themselves on a treeless island they don't like to simply generate a new world. I know I have spent hours re-generating worlds specifically looking for that...

    Don't forget you can get your first slimeballs easily by fishing for jellyfish, either manually (with a fishing pole) or with Pam's fish trap. Once you have a few slimeballs, then a slimalyzer is the important step to find nearby slimechunks so you can build a slime farm. Who needs rubber...

    Does each chunk contain its own data about oil volume in the chunk? If an oil source is a 96x96 block area, it seems like it would cross chunk boarders, which raises questions about forced chunk loading when it is locared on the edge of player loaded chunks.

    Unless something has changed that I don't know about, you can build the LV pump while still in the bronze age. Granted it is more expensive than building the pump in the LV age, but you can still do it. Then simply attach the pump to a pipe as a cover (pump covers do not need power at all)...

    Did you already search NEI for "drone"? There is a "bee breeding" tab... left click to see how to breed a bee, right-click to see how to use the bee in breeding. (Same goes for Forestry tree breeding, if desired.)

    I agree GT item pipes would be a better solution. However, rubber in 3.2 will require sulfur. I know sulfur can become somewhat abundant after a player gets to the LV/MV era, but I have had difficulty finding enough sulfur to make the motors required for the conveyor covers in the early game...

    I certainly hope Jason does NOT remove BluePower. IMHO, pneumatic tubes provide a much-needed, relatively inexpensive item transport system for early-game sorting networks. They are less laggy than Buildcraft pipes, have never spilled items on the ground for me (like Buildcraft is prone to do)...
