If you can't find one, you can try dropping into a labyrinth maze. Generally you'll find at least one maze map focus, which you can then use to craft the uncrafting table. (Takes eight crafting tables arranged around the focus).

The texture pack descriptions are written by the texture pack designers. Neither the mod team or the launcher team have anything to do with that, as far as I know. And the guys doing the Soartex texture pack were more than likely unaware of the bugs when they submitted that description.

The updates to this texture pack haven't made it to the launcher, yet. You can still use the patcher from the OP and get any previous version you had up to date, though.

From the MCF thread, the newest release (C1) is causing some issues with block updates. Also it doesn't mention anything about fixing the Twilight Forest map issue (which is, granted, a minor issue).

Hmm, newest version of BuildCraft (3.4.2) changed worldgen a bit, now EBXL has to re-apply a fix. I wonder if they'll update Monday if EBXL hasn't updated; looks like 3.4.2 fixes a corruption issue with the Builder so it might be important.
