You can use pistons to raise/lower the bookcases. I've also heard that Bibliocraft bookshelves (with books inside) aid in enchanting and I don't think you'd need as many to max enchanting.

Honestly, TE is easy mode compared to Railcraft in terms of energy. Not sure why anyone would try to mix them.

And you tried just placing like dirt blocks on them, then breaking the dirt blocks? Sometimes that can reset things.

You smelted them, right? Assuming you did as you called them slime crystals, rather than slime balls, but just checking.

I think rapier is a lot of fun, honestly. Even if I don't really like the knockback. The guy I was replying to said he specifically didn't want to use the rapier.

Not using TiCo on my current playthrough so not sure which does it but I prefer which ever one gives you the leap (right mouse button). Great for closing in on skeletons.

I don't think that those of us who like to play games on super-duper-hardcore mode mind being labeled a little weird. I just have a masochistic streak, I guess. I'm fine with it. I just lose interest if there is not a real penalty for failure.

I like it a lot. Just nitpicking here but I think the wooden roof of the tower should be a block or two wider per side at the bottom (of the roof).

I'm pretty sure I read that the mod author was concentrating on Japanese (?) mods or something and had stopped doing the minimap mod.And Zan's minimap is the one you probably want.

It depends what mods I'm using. If I am playing Railcraft, for example, I won't use TiCo because why work towards a tunnel borer when I can have a hammer on day two? To each his own, though.

TiCo, even without living in a place where lapis grows on trees, is overpowered. I still enjoy it, though, and play with it more often than I don't.

I'm just stoked for some of my favorite mods to be updated to 1.7 and I'll be satisfied with those biomes with, maybe, atg. I don't mind having large biomes as it's just an excuse to build more rail lines and bridges.

Does DW20 have the Twilight Forest? If so, I've built several based there (away from cicadas....) to good effect. You can't set up a nether portal from in TF that I am aware of but you can use linking books to connect ot to your nether and overworld locations.

I don't play DW20 but if it has Ars Magica 2, that one has portals.

I used to know how to do this but I played Skyrim nonstop for several months and now I've forgotten... Let's say I have several Mystcraft linking books on bookstands in a room; one for my Nether Base, one for my Twilight Forest base, etc... How do I make it so that the names of the books'...

Someone said the loaded chunks and slime chunks displayed on Opis were incorrect. Antone know for sure?
