    Believe it or not, IC2 is already updated for 1.6.1 Biomes o' Plenty and EBXL will be out shortly; and ComputerCraft is undoubtedly going to be shortly behind (one of my favorite mods). As for FTB and 1.6.1 - doubt anyone will see anything for a while. There's just not enough (decent) mods...

    You forget something very important; if mods aren't updated - it doesn't matter what Mojang (or anyone else) does or releases. Half the 1.5.2 mods don't work properly (as evident by the beta packs...) Nope - we can only go off what Wyld and Slow tweet, etc... Look here...

    It's NP :) And yeah; I did - are you using 0.8 out of curiosity? We didn't have any problems in 0.7 (as far as I can remember). So far I've had 2 repeatable crashes: the beealyzer and whatever the black glasses looking thing on powered armor is.

    I swear I saw something on this, but can't find anything now: The beealyzer can't be crafted as shown in NEI right? I've tried the recipe and nada... EDIT: Well it doesn't matter; they're not useable. They crash the client (gave myself one after giving up on trying to make one)

    Honestly - I have no idea. I used it once... :( 1.4.7 are basically back-shelved; no more updates. 1.5.2 is going to (eventually) be the "premier pack". 1.6 is still up in the air as to what will happen.

    Forced? No. But that doesn't mean you not have issues. I know between 0.6 and 0.7 I had a few glitches; and 0.8 had a ton.

    select 0.8 from the drop down. Some else had the issue where it kept saying his stuff was corrupt; he had to go into %appdata% and delete the FTB launcher folder - and then reinstall.

    Ah, sorry! :) That means it's still not enabled. That's actually a pet-peeve of mine with FTB; you enable something - it deletes your settings when it downloads an update. Re-enable it again, then it'll work.

    There are no extra steps. Not unless you're on a server. Then you change server.properties - nothing else. That's on your server; not the config files. In single player, you change the biome type from standard to biomes o plenty when creating a game.

    click 'edit mod pack' from the main menu (before you would normally hit launch) - find Biomes and click the button that moves it to the enabled side. for a server, delete the '.disabled' (it's in the mod folders) - and do the rest that you have in the quote. EDIT: Don't mess with the config...
