    thesandwichmakr is right, it did have to do with generation, extrabiomesXL 3.6.0 did not make redrock block ID less than 256 so it crashed, but he made a hotfix for it, 3.6.0a and delete the cfg, and restart. i just thought i would give an update.

    do you know how to update forge on a server, it may be the issue for when i update forge, single player is fine, but if i try to connect to the server it says im useing an old version, even tho it was built yesterday...
