[1.6.4]Crash Landing [Hardcore, HQM] version 1.1.x BETA STABLE

Am playing v1.1.2.1 aswell, and yea, I can't find any 'cool off' items. Placing or holding snowballs, snowblocks, ice, gelid cryotheum, etc does nothing to reduce tempatures for me :/ That is but your post said it didn't work yet it does. After further testing, it seems as though atleast one...

Unless I've misunderstood that is incorrect, as this works:

Just to be sure: And it will still be able to pull molten metals out from the 'bottom-layer'? and not just down-to the layer it's on? and a follow up: does the drain HAVE to have it's back point to an 'air-block' inside the smeltery?

Q: With the TiCo smeltery, can the drain be on any layer of it, or does it have to be on the bottom layer(exluding the 'base-layer')

could you try Just Cryotheum vs. Non cryotheum. (Leave armor off)

As far as a water hole be careful not to right click it... will cause dehydration. Armor, depending on material used to make it helps cool you off. Iron, gold, etc cool you off durring night but heat you up durring the day. Diamond is the only material that cools you down regardless of day-night...

You aren't supposed to, but there are 'nilla mechanics that allow it No one is sure why it has to be done like that. Here's my setup if interested I don't know about RIGHT AWAY, but I do know GenerikB did a city run within the first few esp. of his LP This was discussed a few pages pack. Camel...

Did you break the 'arm' that was pulling out of the chest? I had a similar issue, deleted the entire assembly line(including input chest) and it fixed it

Open the level.dat with a program called MCEdit. Delete the assembly IO input. Save Restart Server

No problem. After looking through NEI at the heart containers of various levels, I realized if you didn't want us crafting the first level of heart containers, you all would have just removed the recipe. That and my knowledge of SpecialMobs lead me to believe it was an oversight. Open launcher...

They appear to, but do not actually. As there is a mod(SpecialMobs) that stops this from happening To fix this bug (as Shave2482 stated that it is indeed a bug): 1: open /crashlanding/minecraft/config/specialMobs.cfg 2: find "skeleton_rates {" header 3: locate "B:_allow_vanilla=false" under the...

I know you were joking but to clarify for others, I have a tree farm(set to sheer leaves): Wood into furnace generaters (to power fluid transposers, pulverizers and redstone furance), Leaves into fluid transposers for water and saplings Excess leaves, saplings, and vines into Ex Nihilo barrels...

So whats everyone working on? I'm currently building a 'super sieve': Produces and Sieves*: Stone Gravel Sand Dust Soul Sand Netherrack (Thinking about adding dirt) Material Handling: Divides metals between two smelteries to keep from making alloys. Uses basins to make blocks of the metals...

[1.6.4]Crash Landing [Hardcore, HQM] version 1.1.x BETA STABLE

The quest talks about using snowballs to make 'cold water', not using snow blocks to cool you off

It seems like you just got a bad copy of CL. Try re-downloading it: 1: Close minecraft and the FTB launcher 2: If you have a save, navigate to /path/crashlanding/minecraft, and copy the "saves" folder. Put it somewhere outside of the crashlanding folder 3: Delete the path/crashlanding/ folder...

[1.6.4]Crash Landing [Hardcore, HQM] version 1.1.x BETA STABLE

Standing in it causes you to 'freeze your butt off'(take damage), but it does nothing for ambient temperatures. That is, sort of how standing, say, 3 blocks within the vicinity of a machine causes the temperature bar(the black dots) to sky rocket. If you place Cryotheum and stand right next to...

[1.6.4]Crash Landing [Hardcore, HQM] version 1.1.x BETA STABLE

Im noticing there's a slight balance issue when it comes to heat-creaters vs. heat reducers in this mod pack. For example, holding a lava bucket shoots your tempature excessively high, but holding a bucket of Gelid Cryotheum does nothing to alter tempature. Another example is machines creating...
