Silk touch isn't too hard to achieve. You can make a Silky Jewel from Tinkers Construct and apply that to a shovel. It can just be a cheapo stone shovel, you're not likely to need it much.

I stand corrected, then. Apologies! Got the order of those operations somewhat confused.

I believe, as with the Boni Bacon, that storage cell is actually what you need to satisfy the Retloh objective. As for the Reds wool... unfortunately, it's buried in the block of silverfish stone. You may want to consider using explosives and just dealing with the superficial damage that will...

Your quest book should have a "go here" location. Use that as your guide, using F3 to get your current coordinates. Once you get to the ore cave, it's a winding but unbranching passage and should be straightforward to follow.

I've had that happen to me all over the place(edit - by which I mean in many different modpacks). I don't know the cause. I've even had it stop working altogether until I restarted Minecraft. There was something in the console log that I wish I'd saved - basically, some part of the Minecraft...

That much is true, unfortunately, which is why I didn't want to call you outright wrong. The fluid tank is not nearly as useful as it could be and perhaps should be. But it does have SOME functionality.

Not quite true. Water can be decomposed just fine, allowing an easy infinite source of hydrogen and oxygen.

Not if it crashes on load it doesn't.

Back the way you came, is the only way I know. Go back down the line of Wither spawners and the portal should be off to your right once you leave that stretch. Once in the overworld, head to around X=1000, Z=1000 and you should see the portals to the Deep Dark and the End. Go to the End, and...

This is a bit of a long shot, but try linking it to the block NEXT TO the thing you're powering? I can't recall if those things output a strong signal or not.

I had an issue with the lata saplings, mentioned it a while back actually. It's sensitive to which copper block you're using. If you're using TiCon copper, it WILL NOT WORK. You MUST be using Thermal Expansion copper. I'm not sure if the lexicon thing in the Rotunda works at all, but what...

Yeah, I like what Fluxed Crystals is trying to do, in terms of a configurable, balanceable resource-farming mod, but from all the commentary I've heard here, the release that got put in ME^4 1.03 is just plain broken. I can see value in promoting a new mod, especially when the author's willing...

Oho? I thought they were just plain unpipeable. That's very helpful indeed, thanks.

Marginally so. You have a very limited set of filters (that all for EnderIO) and no redstone and/or iron to make more. But yes, it's a start, I will concede that; by the time sorting is likely to become a concern, you'll be at Miner's Dream and can thus make caches, hoppers for EnderIO filters...

I did mean a storage bus, yes. But my point is that unless you are handed interfaces to pipe/output into, the AE system is very limited and needs a great deal of manual shuffling about however you look at it. Farms can be automated reasonably well, but the primary machine setup, not so much...

    [1.7.10] Material Energy^4

Storage drives won't do a thing if the inventory they're attached to gets full. They don't work well for machine outputs for that reason. @Qcor - the paintballs are a decent idea, but light levels become an irritating slog to deal with far in advance of the time you can possibly get a matter...

Yes, confirmed; soon as I turn off the magnet it's fine. It's not ENTIRELY a visual bug, though - the odd right-click-and-hold behaviour seems to mostly be, but even then, bows sometimes won't fire if I let go when the animation's just reset. However, sometimes the very act of selecting a hotbar...

    [1.7.10] Material Energy^4

Storage buses do not convenient storage make. The AE system only really kicks off if you're lucky enough to get a reward bag of interfaces; until that time you have no way to do any kind of automated input-output this side of Inclusion Chamber ^4. Where I find this most significant is in the...

There's also dark ethereal glass around the column of cryotheum in the Biosphere. Ed - ninja'd, whoops!

At least one of those screenshots has a line that says "Steel Bolts" then "Max. Damage: 167".
