    Amplify my life!

IMO platinum bee is still faster than uranium bees (nuclear reactor) for iridium (especially when you use it with fully automated wood farm, seed oil farm and 9 frame housings), ofc this is not the case if you tweak the GT default config or enable the mass fabricator. Atm, the only reason I want...

@Manganese The only use I know: amplifier in mass/matter fabricator.

How do YOU power your quarry?

You know what, I don't even have a quarry lol. But If I had one, I would probably go the common way with steam boiler+fuel and energy tesseract.

Mass fabricator recipe...false and why ?

Because 166k eu/uum is very cheap. Also, you can make the matter fabricator for uum (and adjust the eu/uum cost in the config to suit your taste); and another thing, 1 ferrous ore+ 1 mercury cells+industrial grinder= 1 platinum dust; 9 platinum dust = 1 iridium.

    Bee Breeding Wiki

I think time reference is pretty good too, so you can estimate how many frame housings are needed for bees to reach the maximum productivity. From what I tested, you need 9 frame housings to reach the maximum productivity of valuable bee (which is the slowest bee with 2.5 hours/ platinum comb)...

    Bee Breeding Wiki

For each life tick of the bee queen, you have a chance to produce 0-2 product combs and 0-1 specialty combs. So the 5.1 mins (which is pretty clear is equal to 5 min + 0.1 min*60 sec/min) is there to give you some kind of average time information based on that chance. If you can reach the 2...

    Ultimate pack, Inoculator issue

It's not a bug, sometimes (if you are unlucky) you need 4-5 charges to inject a trait to a bee (since you need to inject both inactive and active traits). Not sure about the difference between drone and princess but usually took me like 5-7 charges to inoculate a pair of bee.

Ways you play your game that people think is crazy.

I built the entire factorization setup (those mirrors and turbine) and crystallizer just to make some slime balls for my RC blast furnace, and then I built the entire thermal expansion set up with those steel (TE hardmode) from blast furnace just to make a pair of liquid tesseracts to pump oil...

    Bee keeping not working

Yep, wintry bees for maximum fertility serum, and then inject the bees you want to mutate with it so you get more chances of excess mutated bees to be isolated for serum.

    Are Platinum bees worth it?

    Yes, ferrous ore+mercury; 36 ferrous ore = 4 iridiums.

    Direwolf20 vs Ultimate Modpacks thread

I like this idea, and change the uum cost to around 5 m since the default IC2 uum cost is too cheap.
