Actually 5.5.2 worldedit (working with modded blocks) works to. At least for 1.5.2. Haven't tested for 1.6.2 but if it works that's the general version id offer for you guys :).

Ive always used coreprotect. Very fast and has no problems with turtles as it treats them as a block, not an entity.

Can I just say the progress in MCPC+ and forge-essentials has been quite amasing. I would recommend if your having any problems with either to check for new updates. It's saved my bacon with MCPC+ over 5 times since my last post and re-making my private modpack.
