And so I'm making a Galgadorian Drill...

    Automating Implosion Compressor with AE

Exactly. I used to craft precise amounts of iTNT, then deliver that to the implosion compressor via a second ME Network. But apparently, the amount of iTNT consumed in each process is exact, and is practically required for all recipes, so I just need to have a constant supply of iTNT. As for...

    Automating Implosion Compressor with AE

True. I got so used to the other machines, I neglected something so obvious and screaming at my face. ~_~

And so I'm making a Galgadorian Drill...

And the annoying part is that there's no easy way to get Ghast Tears! Any advice on how to farm them?

    Automating Implosion Compressor with AE

Want a pure AE solution to integrating an Implosion Compressor? This is one weird block: the input side for TNT is the face with TNT on it. The side without TNT is the output face. And finally, the top is the usual input side.

The lag - I hate it. Tips for lag reduction?

With everything said, let me sum it up with the following words: "Network of Trust". Taken from Linus Torvald's mouth during his Git talk in Google back in 2007 (Starts at 27:35): And I quote: It's the basics of any security work. In that sense, I don't think any sane admin would give...

    applied energistics advanced autocrafting

That's fine if lag isn't an issue. I generally avoid RP2 machines now for general processing and routing of items due to the amount of lag it introduces.

    applied energistics advanced autocrafting

At first, I had the same dilemma too. And I was able to workaround that by having 2 ME networks. My primary ME network has my storage and autocrafting, and the GT machine is managed by a separate ME network. An ME Interface, when you attach a BC pipe to it (gold/stone/cobblestone), ejects the...

    applied energistics advanced autocrafting

Industrial blast furnace troubles? Here's my setup: The configuration for the industrial furnace is as follows: Top: Goes into top input slot. I've attached a hopper with an ME Interface on top and an export bus on its side. That allows me to have a large item buffer when autocrafting and...

    Minium Stone Crafting in AE

You definitely can. I've configured my molecular assembler chamber to autocraft Minium Stones, and I use that to create all the dyes with cactus as my starting point. One word of caution, and this applies to items with durability in general: when you create your pattern, make sure to use an...

Who needs silk touch if you can just have this thing run overnight. Also, dlord is my standard alias for dragonlord. The username was taken when I registered. :(

You can use the Multimeter from TE to know how much power your machines draw.

    Best mining method?

I give you…the Chunkinator. 256 block breakers. Can mine an entire chunk in 20 mins. BWAHAHAHAHAHA!

I'm sorry to sound impatient, but...

If you want to know how it feels like to maintain a modpack, try making your own. Download the latest mods yourself. You're even free to copy the FTB configs…assuming they're compatible. Be patient. Be like water.

    4x4x4 6-directional frame drive

I use this as part of my RP2 frame builds: Wireless redstone-controlled. Compact. And it can be used as a mobile battery due to the number of solar panels and battboxes you can put in. It's also easy to put in an enderchest when solar power is not available, at the cost of having it...

The lag - I hate it. Tips for lag reduction?

True, there's latency involved due to the overhead introduced by the protocol. But if latency's good enough (< 280ms), you'll live. Your choice: more resent packets, or higher than normal latency.

The lag - I hate it. Tips for lag reduction?

Yes, I admit that it's not the best workaround. But then again, solutions to a problem may not necessarily make sense. LOL For one, I'm not a networking guy, and I prefer not to tune my OS anymore (used to do that a lot with Windows). Our sysad suggested it might be related to MTU, but like I...

    Forge: My list of grievances

To the OP. I hope you realize by now that complaining does not help anyone. And posting your "grievances" does not make things any better. You know what? Make your own mod. And let's see if you can live up to your words. Please read my sig.
