I might do it towards the end of the world ;)

I had planned to do both Reactor and Electicraft this world. But I am now a bit concerned about the performance impact. Also I don't really know what I would use the power for tbh. So I don't really know if I want to add something that I doesn't really need, but would probably make performance...

What cool little thing have you discovered today?

Possibly. It can be repaired simply using Light blue wool. Just not at the progression level in botania atm to try it out.

What cool little thing have you discovered today?

Railcraft Engineer's Overalls protects against damage from Electric Tracks. EDIT: but appears that the version I am using, they take durability damage when doing so... Which they have precious little of to begin with..

No. That would be much much slower than a traditional disk drive. A traditional disk is limited by the lookup time. The time it takes to move to the location that stores the needed data. An SSD can read from all storage elements at the same time. A thumb drive is similar in architecture...

    [Direwolf20 1.10.2] View Chunk

Try F3+G It is a new vanilla method. For 1.7.10 and below it was done by NEI by pressing F9.

I have zero experience with Opencomputers. But I do know that it has a Ticket Machine of its own, so it is doable. You probably only want to take some inspiration from my script. The code matches my coding skills, which are pretty terrible :P

Ask a simple question, get a simple answer

Alternative would be to pull everything out on a timer, store the blood seperate from the other material, and pump the other material back in again. As long as you have any kind of fluid filtering solution, this should be a simple matter.

Cant you just use a fluiduct/conduit/whatever that either filters the fluid you wish to extract, or blacklist the one you want to keep?

rhn's continued adventures: a build journal, guide collection etc.

While making the Railcraft Train network I ran into the problem of running trains up/down Elevator Tracks without getting occasional unlinking(locomotive keeps going, cart left behind). I was unable to find a guide on how to pull it off, so once I found a solution myself I decided to share it...

rhn's continued adventures: a build journal, guide collection etc.

I have recently spent a great deal of time creating a Railcraft train network throughout my base(s): Primarily designed for player transport. As a backbone for it I have created a ComputerCraft script to allow choosing the destination on a touch-screen monitor. It uses the Openperipheral...

It also does autocrafting. And allows wireless access to stored items and crafts from any range/dimension. It only really do crafting, storage and item handling. The rest is mostly things that enable you play the mod with or without other mods. Like a standalone power solution purely for AE...

Looking for nature themed mods, please

(know this is an old reply, but with OP bringing the thread up again..) BoP + RTG + Streams Mod makes for a very nice natural looking world. For Clay I suggest adding Pam's Clay Spawn.

I Derp, You Derp, We all Derp, What's your's?

I just spend the day digging, building and decorating tunnels for my electric train network(Railcraft), and only when I tried sending a train through it did I remember that linked carts/locos cannot go up/down elevator tracks...

I can barely manage to use CC :P

rhn's continued adventures: a build journal, guide collection etc.

Bit of a mini side-build: I am currently working on something that requires a lot of tracks(Railcraft). And the Rolling Machine is a bit boring and its size doesn't at all fit its role of "rolling" metal. I am sure we can do better than that :p I put the Rolling Machines under the...

Do you mean a world download? I will probably do one later when things are less... WIP. The buildings are all "rhn originals", I design them mostly in my head and as I go along, and build them manually.

Those are Railcraft Coke Blocks. (With Soartex) I love the look of them, but can be a bit of a PITA to create in bulk.

    Things to do?

Build something. This have practically no impact on performance. If you cannot do too many machines etc. then build up a facade/scene around them. Like a factory or something. You can build an entire smeltery around a single furnace if you wanted to ;) You can also spread out around the world...
