Even worse is updating navboxes. Writing them is tedious, but updating them is just absurdly horrible.

And you've told me I can't create a page without one, and if I remember correctly from reading the guidelines for the wiki, heading 1 is banned, correct?

Pages that don't need them shouldn't have them (ex: VoxeMenu shouldn't, but FTB Monster should, etc). I think I can trust your judgement on that. If your judgement sucks, look at Feed_The_Beast_wiki:All_templates to see if one fits the page
