    useing a house of doors makes you able to manage the population better than a villager spaner build (in my opinion). Don't know who Underpants Gnome is....so long as the blocks "behind" the door extend back 5, the door is considered a "house". it might be 3 blocks back.

    from what i understand, the only version of optifine that currently works with the version of forge installed in the v5.0.1 is Optifine C1 which is experimental and very unsatble. is messing with block updates. REALLY BAD. probably easier to keep using v4 until new/better optifine is out

    It's true that mods increase lag, simply because there is more in the game. and to that end, optifine could be a solution. however, it isn't any error or bug. it's simply the hazards of having more things. it isn't "caused" by their modpack so much as it's caused by having mods installed at all...
