    So the Clockwork Engine is essentially a tier 1 engine for those starting out. Makes sense to me.

    In regards to that, I like how they're adding a variety to them at least. Regular horses are a bit eh, but pack mules do seem to be happening. Also a skeleton horse. So yay, variety better then orange and black cats.

    I dunno, I got pretty excited about 1.5's additions. Especially the redstone block, which is essentially a movable redstone torch.

    Sure is a nice way to get an early gravity gun with little mining though, provided you have glowstone.

    I looked it up on the FTB unofficial wiki. Pure Nodes can gain flux, but it doesn't stay put. It'll eventually cleanse itself of it, unlike a standard node.

    Did you plant them in a chunk with a non-pure node? If it was bigger, they most likely merged and the purity was lost.

    More mod interconnectivity would be great to see. Forestry and Railcraft seem to do this the best at the moment. Excluding conversion-specific mods that is, like Power Converters.

    Yeah, adding food, mobs, dungeons, redstone uses? That's sort of Minecraft core elements. I mean what do you want them to add? A new dimension? Oh wait, then you'd say their copying Twilight Forest, or the Aether, or something. Mojang's inspired by the modding community as much as the modding...

    Flying horse with recharge capabilities justifies EU need. Otherwise have it run on an internal limitless battery for normal use :D

    Aren't they trying to do that right now, what with revamping the lighting system? I'm happy with horses being added in. Moreso I'm happy with the wheat block too - thatch roofs are go! I'd find it pretty awesome if a mod added in a robotic horse. Although having it run on EU sounds...

    Converting saplings into one another is useful when it comes to jungle trees. I love the big ones for vanilla wood gathering. Trouble is, their sapling drop rate apparently isn't all that great.
