I think the IDs in chocobocraft have changed. The spawn egg that the chocobo breeder gives you as a reward for his mini quest (for collecting 64 hay) doesn't work. It also looks like the eggs that he sells are in a different order than before. For example, you can buy a golden much cheeper...

I understand that the map is a download, but is it a single download? It's been a few versions since I've played. It used to be that we had to download the map and then we also had to download "content packs" (for things like isengard). Are these content packs now part of the 1.6 GB map download?

Is it still necessary to separately download the content packs, or are they included in the main map download?

Can you clarify what that means? Will the procedure be different from the update instructions in the OP? Also, have you made any recent changes to the official texture pack (since the February update)? I not complaing if you haven't - I know it's a lot of work to maintain.

@ZephyrWindSpirit, did you try restoring your save from the backup folder? By default, it makes a backup every half hour.

I had unenchanted mithril gear (which is about diamond strength by my estimates). I know the sword was 9 damage. The gear by itself would keep me alive for awhile, but the key was an athelas brew and a knockback resistance potion from the apothecary.
