Just a heads up regarding the server. Compared to regular FTB packs I had no easy way to start the server (No launcher scripts for win/unix), so I've resorted to copying the necessary files from the FTB Infinity server instead.

The quest rewards for "Boiler upgrade" in "Getting started" seems a bit odd. You can choose between 32 pipes or 8 blocks of brass. I cannot imagine a case where you would want the 32 pipes though. The 8 blocks of brass can be converted into 72 ingots, which can be used to craft 48 pipes (Or 72...

I had the same issue recently, but have yet to see it happen in my test of 1.2.6 beta. Mind you, I've only emptied the Ex Nihilo crucible of seared stone/grout in that test world.

Found an inconsistency in the 1.2.6 beta. Grout in a vat goes 1 grout -> 1 brick. Grout in a smeltery goes 1 grout -> 1 brick. Grout in an Ex Nihilo crucible with faucet + casting table goes 1 grout -> 2 bricks.

Ah, no worries then. Though I guess magma cubes and ghasts spawn during the day because they are nether mobs by default?

I was in whatever difficulty the easycore server map was shipped in. I've just tried a map reset. I ran "/difficulty 3" prior to logging onto the server, as well as "/time set 0". Going to the nearest spire to the south yields no mob spawn. Standing right in front of the lower spawner yields...

I found a weird interaction with the water bottles you get from hammering mashed leaves. You get 7 bottles from hammering the leaves in a stack, but since they can't stack normally right-clicking with the stack of waterbottles on a barrel from Ex Nihilo results in water in the barrel and 1 empty...

This is a bug in the latest edition of Flaxbeard, should be fixed in the next update according to https://github.com/Flaxbeard/Flaxbeards-Steam-Power/issues/200. I just downgraded to the version in the 1.2.2 pack for now, works fine there.
