A bolt core is made by tipping an arrow shaft with moltern material (usually metals). Add a Fletching and you have your bolts.

My personal favourite way of enchanting in 1.7.10 was infusion enchanting. I know i was probably in the minority there. Thaumic Tinker also has the osomotic enchanter, but this is fairly expensive.

Could also try using a chisel and bits bit, if using a good bit it may be near enough invisible or hard to make out. That's certainly the cheapest i can think of, but also won't work in midair for obvious reasons.

It does look like a Giant Taint Seed. Taking it out from range is prob the safest bet.

There is one way to do it in vanilla TC6 actually, and it involves research. Occasionally you can get a Synthesis Theory, which consumes two vis crystals, and it actually makes the compound aspect vis crystal the two combine to make. This isn't reliable by any stretch of the imagination mind.

Very doubtful. There will likely be another pack that goes onto the 1.13 aquatic update.

The only surefire way i know for sure to get rid of it is to use the creative flux sponge and sneak right click with it. It may go away on it's own eventually, but not without causing some mischief, such as destroying blocks, spawning wisps and planting taint seeds.

Pretty much everything in Quark is configuarble. I'm pretty sure there is nothing that can't be disabled via config.

For what kind of items? Large amounts of the same kind of item work better in larger drives, lots of different kinds of item that you don't get as much of work better in smaller drives.

That's the way i've always handled it, tainting it first. When tainted, just contain the taint via blooms, once energized it no longer has it's tainting effect.
