one thing its bugging me is how will i find the other metals like copper and tin, silver and etc..? and i know i can transmute then but thats latter on i mean do i have to stay on the stone age until i can transmute things (with thaumcraft or the minion stone that is)

aparently the key is to find sheep and make a bed then you will have time to build your defenses... playing right now... anyone have any idea if it is possible to find thaumcraft shards in a flat world by any means?
