am i missing something or have the powertools no recipes?

Today made 21 random worlds, all 21 have instability, like hunger / poison. It starts feeling like there isnt any normal mining world possible. (dont like mining in the overworld). anything i am missing?

The -Xmx4G -XX:MaxPermSize=256m gave me like 40 fps. in Dw20 in modsauce it says invalid line. trying the other right now. the -XX:+UseParNewGC -XX:+UseConcMarkSweepGC -XX:+CICompilerCountPerCPU -XX:+TieredCompilation game me like 44 - 50 in modsauce, and 39-52 in DW20 1.7.

Pc specs are in aboves post but i went from TPPI to DW20 1.7 (altho i play also modsauce and i have a better fps there).

I have no clue what generation, this pc is less then 4 months old, and its a desktop/ processor is Intel i5,3330 CPU @ 3330 Ghz 3330Gz 8 GB new rams 2500mhz? (not sure on the mhz, but its supposed to be fast lol.) windows 8 64 bit.

1st time i tried it, i had to delete the world, because i could not even enter it anymore, i am not gonna mess with this mystcraft again and installed aroma95 mineworld :_)

For me the max perm size increases my fps by half, man i wish i knew that before, i would not have set any max permsize and just left it blank, that helped me alot. My pc is just a avarage I5. with 8GB rams. and 2gb video card.

Got the 8.something 25 version working great. also removing the max perm size in my settings gave a huge boost to the fps , now all works perfect. Thanks Hambeau.

If thats the case i have to try this, i had to remove java 8 to play TPPI, but if it works under DW20 i can safely run it with java 8?

Since today the Java 8 version is standard, so why does the launcher not work? Here it just stops each time i try to start the launcher. Java 7 is no longer supported by oracle?
