    Deep Resonance on Direwolf20 1.10 - Minecraft Version 1.10.2

You would probably like All The Mods : Expert. I've played Infitech for years and IE:E and have loved all of them. I'm currently playing ATM non-Expert, but have been following the ATM:E thread and am looking forward to starting a new ATM:E world once I get 'tired' of my normal ATM world.

What's new in modded minecraft today?

Re: Pollution Once we get a more features done, like support for other blocks beyond the vanilla furnace, we'll start testing in packs for balance and tweaking. The mod is aimed primarily at 'hard mode' / 'realism' pack-makers.

@BluSunrize Very nice to see ImmersiveEngineering join the 1.9/1.10 party !! It's been one of my favorite mods since it first came out.

Thanks ! @Pyure and I have been discussing this concept for a few modpacks now. In the real world, you don't simply burn a lot of fossil fuels (near where you live and where you grow crops !) and expect everything to be peachy. It will introduce another mechanic for players to be creative with...

What's new in modded minecraft today?

Just started Pollution yesterday. I owe a lot of credit to @McJty for his excellent reference/learning/template 1.9 modding documentation. And, the idea for the Pollution mechanic comes from @Pyure .

How far could I get in Infinity: Expert mode skyblock.

With most packs, that would be a decent and entertaining challenge. With IE:E overworld, that would be extremely difficult - IE:E is already tedious/long enough as-is. With IE:E Skyblock (with a very specific balance built-in WRT ExNihilo processing built on said "old lame mods"), that is a...

Ask a simple question, get a simple answer

Ditto MFR and its Liquicrafter. If you can get something to fill a bucket and put it into an inventory, you can use any standard (3x3, items only) automated crafting mechanism in 1.10 .

    So, hello 1.10

Yup, I was thinking the same. TC5's aura mechanics are a return to hybrid of TC2 and TC3, only better than either of them. Mad props to Azanor for TC5. This looks like his best one yet.

    So, hello 1.10

^^^ This I'll go out on a short limb and claim Thaumcraft is the single most popular mod among players and pack creators. While there are niche communities within the modded MC space (GT, Ars, decorative mods, etc.), Thaumcraft is the elephant in the room that can't be ignored. Where...

I'm wondering the same. Latest CoFH Core is (still) for 1.7.10 .

    FTB Launcher News

Wow. I feel stupid. And, you were extremeley helpful. Wish I could "like" your helpful response. So far, so good. I got the 'Minecraft' button this time and was able to install 'The Pioneers' for 1.8.9 and connect to my server. Much appreciated !

    FTB Launcher News

My gripes with the Curse launcher: 1. It's a generic Launcher, so we lose the custom-built features of a dedicated MC launcher 2. It's basically adware for Curse. They keep trying to push crap on me I don't want. 3. FTB doesn't control it. Curse does and they can do whatever they want with it...

My search skills must suck. I can't find who is maintaining Big Reactors or a fork thereof. Do you have any links, pointers, or other leads ?

Yes, LFTRs/MSRs are woefully underappreciated and underutilized IRL. Would love to play with some accurate simulations of them in modded MC.

CPU Performance Single Threaded, multi Threaded faster cores Whats Better??

i7 5K and 6K series are underwhelming, i.e. worse price-to-performance ratio than 4K series. Sweet spot for Intel is (still) i7 4790(k) or i5 4590. If you're running a server 24/7, the 4590s is good choice for efficiency, i.e. good performance and low power consumption.
